The Sands Centre, Carlisle

The café at the rear of The Sands Centre is the perfect place to come and relax after activities in The Sands or as a place to visit in its own right.

The café is a popular stop off place for walkers to unwind and take stock of the beautiful views over the River Eden which links onto park and riverside walks and the Hadrian’s Wall route. Easy parking is situated by The Sands Centre and is ideal for our customers, walkers or shoppers alike.

The café has a seating capacity of 80 inside and 30 on the outside patio area.

No.10 Limited, which provides the food, drinks and service at the café, prides itself on top quality food from local producers and has been able to use the ethics established at its highly successful restaurant in Carlisle in its new Café and Bistro brands. Top quality chefs and staff provide a quality but relaxed experience at all the venues it provides and the No.10 Café @ The Sands is no exception. Quality, healthy and locally sourced food, produced freshly on site, at a reasonable price in relaxed surroundings.

We can cater for large groups or functions within The Sands Centre ranging from small parties to large events of 500 plus.

The café links closely within the other activities in The Sands Centre to offer a superb range of children's parties including 5-A-Side, Didimen inflatables, skating, mini activities and bouncy fun.

The café also operates two bars so feel free to come and enjoy a drink or two before or after any of our 100+ shows per year or if you just fancy a treat by the River Eden.  We also offer pre-show dining within the café based on our more formal Bistro menu, why not book and make a night of it?
