Our Exercise To Music programme features OVER 60 different classes every single week. We offer sessions for beginners right through to the experienced exerciser and for all age groups. Just look at the range of classes we have

Aerobics
  • Foundation: A cardiovascular workout that maximises fat burning by combining hi and low impact moves and combinations. A great place to start, with easy to follow routines and lots of explanation. Most classes will include toning exercises at the end of the class.
  • Intermediate: A more complex choreographed hi energy workout aimed at increasing your fitness level. Not for the faint hearted! Most classes include toning exercises at the end of the class.

Bums 'n' Tums
  • A toning blast for the lower body focusing mainly on bums, tums and abdominals. Most classes incorporate upper body exercises and will usually use resistance equipment such as hand weights and resistance bands to promote muscular strengthening.

Freestyle Fitness Yoga
  • The focus of the class is on stretch and includes exercises from many different strands of yoga, renamed and adapted, and there is no meditation. This class is more about having fun and getting fit. It will improve your flexibility and help you de-stress from every day life. The ideal class to supplement your current fitness classes or a hectic lifestyle.

    NB: This class is not suitable for those who are pregnant or those suffering with a diagnosed back problem. If you do have a back problem consult your doctor for advice on this type of exercise.

BodyAttack
  • Work to your own personal limit during this energetic, athletic group fitness class from Body Training Systems. Experience dynamic athletic movement, combined with active recovery periods. Three cardiovascular blocks laced together with active core stability exercises that provide a full body workout, setting a benchmark fitness class for instructors and consumers.

BodyCombat
  • Most classes will last an hour, each class breaks down into 10 routines. First an upper body warm-up that teaches jabs, uppercuts and hooks, followed by an upper body power-training track that takes those moves and adds some oomph! The next two tracks do the same thing with the lower body, focusing on kicks to the side, back and front. Once you're warmed-up, it's combat time - deeply satisfying combinations of punches and kicks. Even the abs track sticks to the theme and the cool-down is something you need to experience to believe.

BodyCombat Clinic
  • For those of you that want to get the most of your workout then the Combat Clinic is a must. Here you will be taught the safe and correct way to punch and kick the BodyComabt way.

BodyPump
  • Bodypump is a 45-60 minute non-impact, resistance training programme, that utilises barbells and adjustable weights.

    It is a studio-based group session which is led by highly skilled, motivating instructors who receive on-going training to ensure every class is safe, effective and fun.

    It is essential that you attend at least one BodyPump Clinic prior to participation.

BodyPump Clinic
  • This short introduction will teach you the correct technique for a Bodypump class. If possible everyone should attend a clinic before taking part in a full class. If this is not possible please make sure you inform the instructor that you have never used fee weights before.

Ab Attack
  • An ab-solutely fabulous 30-minute workout devoted to strengthening your abdominal and back muscles. Improve your body's most vital source of strength - your core!

Line Dancing (Foundation/Improvers)
  • Join Sylvia on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and stomp, shuffle and tap your way to fitness. Have fun and meet new friends.

    Please note that Thursdays' session has foundation only dances from 1.30-2.00pm, from 2.00-3.30pm the dances become more intermediate. You can either take part in the whole class or you can do just part of the class. The price is the same whether you stay for half an hour or for the whole two hours.

Pilates
  • The slow controlled flowing movements of Pilates primarily strengthen the 'core' muscles that stabilise and support the spine, realign the body and correct postural problems. Pilates brings mind and body together, focusing strongly on total concentration, balance, precision and breathing.

Prime Time Aerobics
  • Over Fifty's: A gentle, easy pace, light hearted aerobics class for those over a "certain age". Join the fight against osteoporosis, stiff joints and muscles.

    Please inform the instructor before the class if you have never stepped before or if you have any joint or health problems.

Prime Time Conditioning
  • Over Fifty's: This class will help to firm up arms, legs, bums and tums. It is a body toning class designed for those over a "certain age" who want to remain, strong, toned and supple.

Spinning
  • Spinning is an indoor group cycling class, which gives you a great cardiovascular workout and is an excellent way to tone your thighs and bottom.
  • Advanced: The advanced class provides a more intensive workout for the super fit.

Stability Ball
  • A body conditioning class with a difference, the difference being that exercises are performed on or around a large inflatable ball. This class will improve your body's most vital source of strength - your core! Learn the latest techniques on balancing, stabilising, stretching and strengthening exercises. This class is a lot of fun!

Step'n'Firm
  • Foundation: A hi/low impact cardiovascular workout, which involves stepping on and off a platform combined with body conditioning exercises to achieve a whole body workout.

    A great place to start for the beginner.
  • Intermediate: A high-energy class with exciting choreography and dynamic power moves providing a high intensity cardiovascular blitz. This class has short intervals of toning exercises to firm the arms, thighs, bottom and abdominal muscles.

Strictly Dancing
  • Have fun dancing yourself fit in 2005 and learn the following dances, Cha Cha, Rhumba, Rhythm Foxtrot, Basic Waltz and Basic Quickstep. It would be preferable to come with a partner and suitable footwear should be worn (no trainers).

Teen Spinning (13-16yrs)
  • A 30 minutes Spinning class especially for 13-16 year olds set to funky music. A great calorie burning workout and a real challenge for your leg strength and fitness levels.
